You Have The Ball
Today Meridith and I signed the lease for our apartment. We officially move in on November 1st. So now I have approx a month and a half to go through all my shit and pack it up. I'm going to see if there's boxes at work that I can use. I don't think I have too much stuff, but that theory will surly go out the window quickly as I begin to fill boxes.
To help get our first months rent in order, Meridith worked some overtime, but it was a lot of hours and I don't like it. I'm trying to get all the money myself since she has more financial obligations right now with her apt. We're going to be fine, but I put in for some overtime this week. I decided to work one extra hour each day, so that's 5 hours at time and a half. I was going to work a Saturday because it's double-time, but I then found out I'm working on Columbus Day, which is the 10th. That day, I'll get triple-time, which is fantastic because I don't need to sacrifice a Saturday. So overall, things will be fine.
Right now my savings account has $36 in it and my checking has approx the same amount. I don't get paid until next Friday, so I need to live on this for 5 days. Blah. It really sucks that just buying gas will deplete the account. Gas sucks. hehe.
Anyhow... that's pretty much it. It's going to be a busy time in the next few weeks. New place to live, wrapping up old stuff, and moving on in my life. Details on my diabolical plans as time goes on. Until then, be well.
