(For reference sake, I had wanted a $2000 laptop, but Dad made me shoot lower for a refurbished)
$1300 (Initial cost, $650 was my money)
$0 (New keyboard, warranty covered it)
$150 (Replacement Battery)
$25 (Replacement power connector)
$180 (Having said connector installed)
And now ladies and gentlemen ::Drum roll:: ....THE SCREEN IS DEAD!!
YES my friends my screen has ceased to illuminate leaving my quite literally, in the dark.
So this problem will either cost me (depending on how big an asshole dad is)...
$0 (I get a clunky old monitor from the house! Thanks dad!)
$100-300 (I get a flat-screen monitor)
$500-800 (We ship out this shit-box and try to get the problem repaired)
$1000-2000 (New computer time!)
Now for my closing statement: $@65@)&63(^!(!^$%$*@%^$!&@$!&^%!(#-1^(#^!(*#!!
Update:...Wow...I was pretty angry!
---------------------------------------
Heres what REALLY happened. Apparently my computer had some shit in it from when it was fixed by that tard in my town. As a result, something clogged the button that keeps the monitor off....Kept the monitor off. I inadvertently fixed it by pressing the button over and over again in rapid succession making the screen turn on for about a split second and having a "Broken screen rave". The point is...Crisis averted...for now..(knock on wood)
