Review of Lenore #12
Issue 12 of Lenore by Roman Dirge gets a quick review at Michael May's pull list at Comic World News. Seems May's first time reading any of Roman's work was in Haunted Mansion #1, and he liked it so much that he dared to cross the threshold of the Cute Little Dead Girl! And he did not find himself transformed into a thirteen-year-old goth girl, as he had feared (well, he didn't fear specifically that he'd turn into a girl, but you know what I mean).
"Whatever my preconceived notions about people who like Lenore were," May writes, "they’ve now been expanded to include "'people who just like vividly imagined, darkly funny, fantastically illustrated stories.'" Hooray for broadening horizons!
