Welcome Back, Netflix

A few months back, my credit card expired and I couldn't find my new one. As my netflix subscription was attached to said card, I couldn't renew and let it lapse. Busy (and poor) with the holidays, I just hadn't gotten around to renewing until Sunday. I already had a hefty queue, so I went through the task of reorganizing and adding newness (mainly tv). I didn't finish. But I got the first 15ish in order, so that gives me some time. Anyway, last night, my first installment of dvds arrived, including disc 1 of Doctor Who, season 1. Even though season 2 just came out on dvd, I wanted to rewatch all of the first season (i'm talking about the new series, folks). Not only do I just miss watching it, it'll buy me time until season 2 will be available. I separated all the discs with 2 movies, so I have some variety and don't overdose on the Doctor. Last night, I watched all three episodes on disc 1. I'm noticing a lot of little things I missed before on the initial viewings. Mostly just subtleties between Rose and the Doctor. What is the deal with ancient immortal men and teenage girls? And when are they going to have a female doctor? I rather enjoyed Joanna Lumsley's humorous portrayal. I should add AbFab to my queue too. Not all of my brain is quite awake yet. Yargh. The hunger has taken me. Must eat children... or oatmeal.
