Sick of being sick
I hardly ever get sick.
Unfortunately, this is the second time I've been sick in the past month and it couldn't come at a worse time. I had made plans with friends for the weekend and was gearing up for a busy week at work. This after being snowed last week due to snow a storm. I couldn't even pull out of the driveway, the snow banks were so high and ended up spending the day cleaning and organizing my room. Instead, I had left work at noon on Friday and have barely left the house since then. I've gone through three movies (zoolander, whale rider, saving face - i would recommend all three), an issue of macleans from front to back, almost an entire book (love in the time of cholera) and probably could polish off another one before the end of the day.
i suppose i should use this time to meditate instead of trying to pass the time one way or another and worrying how I will get through things at work but i can't seem to. or i don't want to. i'm not sure which is more true. anyhow, i hope i feel better tomorrow.
