What ive learned so far
I should not loan out money.
Be who you are: people want me dead because: im a woman, im black, im gay. Trifecta! I cant worry about them.
Respect yourself.
Tell people how you feel about them, good or bad.
Be polite unless theyre rude.
Get a specialty and make yourself indispensable as possible.
Have a plan B.
Learn from your past and look forward, life keeps going. As you should :)
When you like someone don't play games, just have tact.
Be direct but diplomatic if necessary.
Trust your voice--- i learned this in a seemingly meaningless situation. There was a chicken sandwich and the restaurant needed a name. I thought "The Yardbird" but didnt submit it. A week later some dude got it with the same name. Shoulda been me!!!
Dont cheat on your partner unless you dont care at all. Then you should just break up.
Make time for you
Try anyway. Do it anyway.
Dont gossip and keep people out of your business.
Cut friends off if they become a source of stress.
Appreciate days when you feel healthy.
Thats all i can think of right now.
