turkey break update
thanksgiving break went well...
thanksgiving dinner came out awesome... possibly the best it's been in years. tennison meeting my parents went pretty well... my mom liked him, my dad didn't say much which was the best i could've hoped for. everyone else liked him too. now i have the task of impressing his parents come christmas, which i am somewhat nervous about.
friday me, lourdes, and jenny spent the day slaving away for our little havana nights party... it turned out really well. the music, the decorations, the raft, people dressed up, everyone in guayaberas... all in all it was a pretty badass party. even my mom was breaking it down with us all night.
i'm probably going to do some shopping today and then pack for NYC. i'm pretty excited, though a bit scared of how everything will pan out with my parents. i plan for me and lourdes to stay away from them as much as possible.
hopefully i'll get inspired for christmas presents when i'm out and about today... i have a couple of presents bought already and a good idea of what i'm getting other people but there's still a couple of people who i really don't know what to buy them. i still have a few weeks though, but i hate leaving shopping until last minute.
