RE6!

I think I already logged 16 or so hours in the last 2 and half days of RE6, and I'm almost halfway done I believe. But I don't want it to end, but I also really want to know what the hell's going on and what happens at the end. Right now, I'm just getting everyone to China first. Leon's campaign before getting to China is absolutely awesome, it's a nod to the past RE, like the atmosphere, and the tension when you have to run away instead of fighting every single zombie there is because you are either low on health or running out of ammo. Sherry's campaign, (I refuse to call it Jake's campaign even if it's officially called that) is sort of a mix between the old and new. While Chris' campaign is pretty much all out eliminate all the baddies type of gameplay. That's where it gets all the negativity I believe...people want RE6 to focus on one type. But if an outbreak is in a global scale...I find it hard to believe that it's possible to make it not an all out war type of thing. But like in RE2, and RE3 where the UBCS are pretty much like that anyway, you just don't play as them, but I don't doubt that they're loaded with tons of ammunition to try and take out the infected in Raccoon City. Leon's campaign is pretty amazing, which shows Capcom can really take it back to it's roots and make it awesome if they really want to, kind of wish that they do though. Honestly, RE4 was the scariest RE that I've played even though people deemed the PSone generation of RE games are by far the best. And RE4 is when they started the new formula too.

Anyway, this is what I mean when I refer to Jake's campaign as Sherry's.

See how the RE veterans (Chris and Sherry) are actually standing up to the BOW(bio organic weapon) while newcomers Jake and Piers are staggering on the floor. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.

Speaking of Sherry, she is totally awesome. Just as awesome, actually, even more awesome than she was back in RE2 as a little kid running around and surviving by herself against the Raccoon City incident. I really like her personal outlook and attitude. But damn, I feel really bad for her though, all the crap she's been through. Kinda just makes your heart wrench.

There's actually quite a bit of instances in RE6 that just sends a shiver down your spine because it's just so compelling, and really tugs at your heart strings. Maybe it's just me...

So overall, RE6 is amazing. But for some reason, I feel like the cutscenes are not as choreographed as well as RE5..but I have yet to see all the cutscenes in RE6. And RE5 graphics and textures are better than RE6's...not by too much though. Don't get me wrong though, RE6 still looks amazing. And I really dislike having to sign up for Residentevil.net to unlock stuff in the game, when in RE5 it was all through the disc itself.
