I'm so jelly

Since when did "Jelly" became to mean "jealous" seems so over used these days. But I guess i'm "jelly" about people already having RE6 before the 10/2 release date. Damnit, I want it too. I think it's those who ordered it from Capcom directly have gotten it already. Watched some gameplay of the Mercenaries mode for RE6 on youtube, and seems like it's not much different from what was shown before/ the demo. There's a few things that sort of bother me..not really, but if it was "fixed" I'd be so happy.
1) Weapons are not holstered on the character's back, like rifles and machine guns, and shotguns like in RE5. When you switch weapons they magically appear. It's not a big deal, I mean, makes it look "cleaner" if that was what Capcom was going for. But I like to visibly see the weapons when not in use, because it just seems awesome.
2) Still no pick up items animation for ammo and stuff like in RE5, but they have it for key items. It does make the gameplay smoother, and faster ( I think that was what Capcom was going for)
3)Um, not sure how to go about talking about this one. So I've noticed that in RE6, everyone runs the same, have some melee moves that overlap, but the special melee moves are all different for all 7 of the characters. But the main thing is when holding a handgun, there use to be a difference among guys vs. girls. Like in RE5, the girls will hold the handgun with both hands to their side near the hip, and the guys will hold it up with both hands by their head. But in RE6, I've noticed that it's sorta melted together. Sherry, Helena, Leon hold the handgun to their side, but Jake, Chris (and don't know about Piers or Ada) hold it with one hand. Seems like there's a pretty good separation, but what is Leon doing holding it like the girls. Actually, I haven't noticed it until today, but in RE5, all characters run and walk the same too. I guess it's just that in RE5, you only have 2 characters and you don't notice it as much, but when you have 7 characters and they all run and walk the same, it gets noticed easier. But I hope the idle animations are not the same for the guys and girls...like in the demo. In RE5 they were different.
4)There's still some lighting issues, like the shadows are not that clean when there's a bright light on the character. I personally attribute that to the limitations of this gen's GPU. I bet on PC it would look much better.

I think that's about it...but so far, it looks totally fun. There's so many movement in the game, a pretty big different to the old tank controls of RE1-3...and even perhaps RE5. I played some RE5, and man, I wanted to do the rolls and the dodges too, but kinda sad that I couldn't. I'm glad that you can move and shoot in RE6, and i'm also glad that they made it so that you can only walk and shoot, and not run and gun..because that's just unrealistic. But not sure how RE7 is going to top RE6's movement..if at all.

Oh yeah, watched an interview people did with Laura Bailey who did Helena's VO. She's one talented lady. Seems like a pretty awesome person too. But seems like for some reason she's almost always paired up with Troy Baker somehow in whatever game it is to do the VO.

So sad I won't be able to even play RE6 on 10/2...boo
