My mother gets up a lot earlier than we do so she usually lets the
wuff out when she does, yesterday though he managed to slip past her and was loose in the neighbor hood for a couple hours, the whole time she's out there calling for him and of course being ignored. We finally woke up because we could hear her outside calling his name, the landlord was up with his son's dog Ozzy so I figured he had made the break to go play with him, I stepped out on the porch to call him and saw my 62 year old mother out in the snow in bathrobe and slippers, waving a ham bone in the air calling to the wuff, I about died laughing at that sight, that's a level of crazy I can only hope to be at her age, and to make it worse, after she had been out there for like an hour trying to get him in, a quick call and whistle from me had him dashing to the porch and into the house.
He's always so happy after getting to play with other dogs, I wish we had more living near us for regular play dates.
