GAH I need new icons. I deleted some and uploaded some new ones... I will reorganise them fully when I have more time.
Studied some Math today. I was surprised to find that I actually know some. :O Having not touched my math books for nearly a year, this comes as quite a shock to me, albeit a pleasant one. Maybe I'll do well on Monday/Tuesday, who ( Read more... )

Yep, I shall :) Our English A1 is only Lit, though. They seem to think we don't need to be educated in grammer and such. Which is quite true, with the minor problem that I have no idea what all the grammer terms even ARE but I've been using them all my life hehe :/

Same here, that's what English A1 is like anywhere really, and A1 languages in general (our Greek also doesn't involve grammar, because we're supposed to know it well it's our mother tongue, or something).

Hehe yeah. It's funny because I hardly know the 'grammer names'and rules for all the stuff i use when i write/speak... pretty ironic hehe. But I suppose one feels pretty good to know that they have such a grasp of the language that they subconciously know what seems right and what doesn't :D

*SQUISH TIME* Anyways, good luck with them hun. Ugh, my IGCSEs begin (and will last 4 weeks!) this wednesday, and yet here Sarah is, on Lj, watching her fave Sex & the City episodes, and eating, when she should be studyin chem @_@

My friend Alice had to borrow a grammar book from me two years ago for an examination, her mom's from New Zealand so she grew up speaking english, she never had to take any lessons or whatever, and at some point she had to take an exam and didn't know the grammar definitions and stuff. She ended up not needing them anyway, haha.
