latest Bones rambling ~spoilers?
Bones 4x16 (The Bones That Foam).
By all means, a great, great episode. Felt like we were back in the good-old writing days, before stupid things like Hero in the Hold were happening :P
The pace felt great, not rushed or too slow, just perfect. The foaming bit was interesting and baffling enough to keep me going "so what the hell IS that thing anyway?" without being annoyed.
And surprisingly, Mr. Nigel Murray did not annoy me in this episode unlike the last time he was around, I kinda felt for the guy in this one actually. Probably because they told us why he spews out facts at random moments out of stress - Cam's understanding for him was also a great touch. She was pretty good in this episode.
Loved Bones wanting to learn how to manipulate people - it didn't feel forced at all, rather it was very natural I think, coming from a partnership with Booth one would inherently become envious of his empathy and manipulative skills. Manipulation: 5 dots, hurhurhur /endRPGreference.
And man, should I feel completely guilty about shipping Bones and that blonde lap dancer? Admit it, it would be SO HOT.
Plus that girl had smarts, they'd be awesome together. *resists the urge to write femslash*
Angela annoyed me a tiny bit, because she was like "ohh yeahhh, I'm the computer wizard genius, let me show you my convenient new program that regrows bones from non-existent calculation specifics" :P I just dislike it when they use her whenever they need divine intervention in the form of a super-intelligent visual representation program thingy. She's more than that, you guys, come on.
Hodgins going "can't ruin it for me - KING OF THE LAB!" was absolute genius XD
He and Angela ought to be getting back together liek nao plzkthx.
Oh and WKJFDKJSKFJDS at Fox possibly cancelling the season finale where we're supposed to get BB sex because of goddamn fucking American Idol again. FUCK THIS SHIT, every time they need a timeslot it's Bones that pays the price.
But Bones is the SHIT, Fox. Come oooooonnnn.
