oh look, a dyslexic is in trouble!

Cosplay ball last night was AMAZING. A-ma-zing.

I had to leave my musical run-through rehearsal early and my director pulled a very sour face even though I'd told her I couldn't stay till 8:30 since, like, early October :P Musical's looking great and really funny by the way, even though we don't really have an actual theatrical stage and that means cramped set items and NO POSSIBLE ENTRANCES/EXITS... and we have to wheel a wheelchair in and out like a gazillion times... Honestly, I don't know what these people are thinking :P And my director is proving to be this very obnoxious and dislikeable woman when she's not joking around with the cast. And I don't like non-straight-forward people.

Anyway, I left the rehearsal early and went straight to the Cosplay Ball venue, which was pretty much all the way across London. Amy had texted me saying that they needed a model for the kimono fashion show by Akemi Solloway, so instead of ushering people to their VIP boxes (which is what Amy and I were assigned to for helping out at the ball), I was dressed in a cotton yukata, had makeup and hair done and went on stage barefoot >.< I was really nervous at first because all the ball attendees were like, *jiiiiiiiiiiiii* (stare~) but it was quite fun. :) I'll add it to my CV as well, I hope it counts for something. I honestly look like a diva in the pictures, must post a couple sometime xD
Then I changed into my Kallen cosplay which was a simplified version of her hostage dress in R2 (simplified because there was not enough time for Amy to make the full version)... It kept sliding off >_< because it was strapless and not exactly tight enough around my body... Had a couple embarassing moments but I was with a friend so it went unnoticed XD Generally looked quite alright. Was asked to dance by a complete stranger, a man who seemed to be in his late 30s-early 40s, and we danced the twist O.o I like the twist and generally all oldie-type dances, and the dude was nice although way too old for this kind of thing methinks :P All my other dances (including waltzes and ballads and stuff) were divided among friends. Amy and I danced to "Iris" by Goo Goo Dolls :D It was soooo much fun XD but my feet killed me at some point, I'm SO not used to wearing high heels >.< They looked so pretty though, my shoes. :)

Aanyway, the event was a huge success, the costumes I saw all around were absolutely stunning, the venue was GORGEOUS, and all in all it was absolutely fantastic and we all had a blast ^______^

We took a combination of night buses home with Fray, Cuu, and a bunch of their friends from uni, Callum, Aisha and Jack.
Jack wrote on the fogged bus window, tracing letters with his fingertips, the word HELP but mirrored so it will be read by people outside the bus. The only thing was, he spelled P in the correct rather than the mirrored way. Callum noticed this and in pointing it out he said,
Now if someone sees it they're gonna go 'Oh look, a dyslexic is in trouble!'Seriously, too much lol there. TOO MUCH. Both Amy and I cracked up and couldn't stop laughing until our stomach muscles hurt and our eyes teared up. Even then I only stopped for a while and then conjured up the image in my head, of someone seeing the writing on the window and saying that in all earnestness. Couldn't help but crack up again. Callum was staring at me like "O_____o", he didn't really think he'd been that funny but OH MAN HE WAS. XD

This goes to prove that the best humour is created unintentionally.

Also, because yesterday I was out all day and didn't even have time to think, I remembered today and I need to say...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHINEN YUURI!!

... because you're my favourite and I LOVE YOU <3
