Finally discovering the true danger of letting your Pokemon always run free -- Little children will try and capture them.
I was on the route home, returning from errands -- found beautiful mushrooms on sale in Veilstone and the tomatoes so ripe! -- when suddenly Mu-chan races on ahead and right into a tree. A honey tree. She can move so fast when she smells food. Within the blink of an eye Mu-chan's covered in honey, stuck to a tree, and a small kid with a net jumps out from behind a bush yelling something about finally finding a Munchlax.
It seems kind of cruel to lay traps like that and a waste of perfectly sweet honey too. It took an hour or so to get Mu-chan finally free from the tree, with myself getting stuck in the honey too once or twice in the process. The child was no help, he was just angry I had ruined his trap and kept asking for proof that she was really my Pokemon... I think he laughed at me too till Lady scared him off.
Taguchi-kun, can you bring home more shampoo and shower gel? It's a mess. I don't think either of us will ever be clean again. How do you even get honey out of clumps of fur?
Oh and Nino -- let me know when tour rehearsals start. I should pop up to Jubilife someday soon anyway to hear the final record and deliver an "I'm sorry I overreacted and kicked you out of the house. Oh, don't worry the cake is low in sugar so you can still eat it on a diet" cake to Yokocho and Maru-chan.
