hello, senior year!
so senior year. it's wierd, i don't like it very much yet, but the work is pretty easy. i miss my college friends... being the oldest is so strange, because i have no connection with most of the school now. i hardly know any of the faces i see in the halls. but i feel older for once, and comfortable where i am.
i have concert choir, chorale and choraleers for the first two periods. they're okay. i like chorale best. choraleers is going to be veeery tricky, as i am not much of a dancer... eek. third period = the fantastic madness that is the newspaper. i love being on the staff, it's so fun and everyone is having a blast so far. fourth period is health... i have fun people in my class, so it will be bearable. fifth period is lang, i can already tell that this will be an amazing class. (entire periods devoted to single poems? yes, i think so!) i have sixth and seventh period off, but i work on my independent study creative writing during those periods. my independent study is already really interesting and fun, but you wouldn't believe the number of signatures i have to get to take the class! not to mention having to write up a proposal... ehh, whatever. it's worth it. eighth period math is terrible. i am the worst math student ever. enough said. ninth is issues -- what a waaaste of my life and my brain. kgf and i sit in the back of the room and ALMOST miss a.p. u.s... if only for the occassional use of brainpower needed.
anyway, that's my life for this year. after school is folio, work, band practices, photography, opera stuff and cyo. somehow, i don't think i'll be getting any more sleep this year, no matter what they've told me.
P.S. GOOD NEWS:
1. VISITING DANA AT COLLEGE THIS COMING WEEKEND!!! BRILLIANT!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED, THREE DAYS IN SCHOOL AND I CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR A BREAK FROM IT ALL, NOT TO MENTION MY LIFE HAS BEEN SEVERELY LACKING IN THE DANA DEPARTMENT.
2. AGAINST ME!/BOUNCING SOULS IN NOVEMBER!!!
