Anime. Supernatural and Dragon Age, that is.
Quite a coincidence, but these two bits of news came out at practically the same time. First off, Warner Japan will be doing a 22 episode series that covers the first two seasons of Supernatural. They'll be teaming up with Japanese studio Madhouse and will be releasing it on Blu-ray and DVD in January 2011. More info can be found here and the website (though incomplete) is already up.
In related news, Bioware and FUNimation Entertainment will be working together on an anime feature film based on Dragon Age and slated for release in 2011. No info yet on whether the story will follow the game's plotline or be drawn from the larger Dragon Age universe. I expect it'll be more a tie-in like the Dragon Age books and comics rather than the game, although I'd love to see party members like Alistair, Morrigan and Zevran make an appearance. Here's hoping.
