[ it is about time to try and smile on through the difficulties. there is a christmas day to be celebrated and gifts to be opened and given. so buffy puts on her bravest of brave social faces and is out making her christmas gift rounds.
at home, there will be gifts under the beautifully decorated tree for bones, willow, emony and scotty
around town, buffy will be leaving packages and/or letters for xander, andrew, raine, derek and guy.
in addition, she will drop off two very unsigned and unwrapped gifts. first of all a little basket of assorted items for spike -- including black nail polish, more hair dye, and a new (plain blue) mug to replace the one she had accidentally broke a few weeks ago. this gift she doesn't wrap or tag because she knows she doesn't have to. the trappings never matter and he'll know. the second gift she leaves untagged is a pair of very modern binoculars outside of jack sparrow's door. her motive in untagging this one is wholly different.
