Well we somehow made it through da 2018 ~NCT 2018 YEAR~ also Banana One's last year together and i'm literally crying a river as we speak. 2018 from my perspective can be remembered by the pikachu open mouth meme and that's just how i felt most of the year cuz wtf.
Pikachu open mouth meme was when Beyonce took over coachella and did all her hair flips and shit and we all lost it, it was me when Black Panther blew me out of the fucking water and i couldn't stop listening to ost and wakanda forever was everywhere, it was me when prince harry finally got married and my dumb ass is still single, it was me when BTS was invited left and right to perform on american tv with jimmy fallon, award shows, tyra banks?? KPOOP REALLY IN DA AMERICAS NOW I MEAN NICKI MINAJ CAME OUT IN THEIR VIDEO AND NCT EVEN PERFORMED WITH MICKEY MOUSE??!11,
Plot twists also came fast like when i was saying YO HYUNA AND EDAWN ARE JUST COMFORTABLE FRANS AND POSSIBLE FUCK BUDDIES BUT THEY REALLY WENT AHEAD AND SAID THEY'VE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 2 WHOLE YEARS AND REBELLED AGAINST THE CUBE, THE REAL EMPIRE. IM WITH THE QUEEN HYUNA RESISTANCE. or when we thought civil war was gonna be bad but infinity war fucked us up with PETER PARK SAYING "I DON'T FEEL SO GOOD MR.STARK" or when minhyun revealed his fucking HWANGGOD ABS BUT FUCKED UP HIS BLINDFOLD PERFORMANCE, or when Janet Jackson showed up at MAMAS but did not perform AS FALSELY ADVERTISED FUCK. We had more surprises like Rick had his last episode on the walking dead and the Queen movie took over everyone's hearts especially Korea covering don't stop me now 500 times. Let's not forget our haunting moments like the running man showing up on the ticketmaster website for BTS tickets and also Slayer announcing a farewell tour but not A FREAKING LOS ANGELES DATE IM STILL WAITING 12 YEARS IN AZKABAN.
Even with all the surprises, we had amazing moments happen. Most significantly, I GOT TO HANG WITH BRITTANY MY SOULMATE 11EVER IN DA L.A.!!! A DREAM FOR SO LONG CAME TRUE!! So many dreams, like finally being able to see NCT live and really being able to see Wanna One up close as well. The biggest transition in my life was finally leaving my old department that was literally sucking the soul out of me, SO NOW I NO LONGER HAVE TO RELATE TO AGGRESSIVE RETSUKO, WHICH EVERYONE FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS YEAR BTW LOL, so here's to hoping i can keep my new job at this new department for another year!!! ALSO FUCKING JOJO PART 5 HAPPENED AND WE STILL IN THIS SHIT WITH FUCKING GIORNO GIOVANNA MY SON PLS PROTECT US FROM ALL DA EVIL NEXT YEAR!!! HWANGGOD CULT BEGAN AND SOMEHOW SO MANY OTHER CULTS ARISED LIKE JEFFGOD???? HUSBANDO JOKER FROM P5 WAS ALSO ANNOUNCED ON SMASH AND I STILLC AN'T PLAY THOSE GAMES OR ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY SMASH HI-
ehem, this 2018 is dedicated to all the beautiful powerful ladies like Sunmi who is running da show, to Chungha who remains flawless, to Queen Hyuna that performed with only a bra and pants on, to Mamamoo who doesn't clearly give any fucks now, and to my old fart oppas that remain legends in their 20th anniversary while still touching each other's butts, thank u SHINHWA. This year is also dedicated to my wonderful Babymetal that will always be in my heart but no longer da same as Yuimetal has moved on to other kawaii shit. 2018 is dedicated to minhyun's abs that wrecked me and guanlin. 2018 is dedicated to that hard day of streaming the SHINee concert thanks to that chilean fan at 2am but it was beautiful, thank you for being so strong SHINee. 2018 also had me being comforted by Jonghyun's amazing Poet album and it's still magical, thank you Jonghyun. 2018 is dedicated to the NEO GOT MY BACK ALIEN VIDEO THAT WAS NEVER FOUND AGAIN RIP. 2018 IS FOR WIN WIN BEING THE NEW JESUS AND LEADING NCT INTO THE BEST YEAR 2019.
