I guess the real reason I haven't posted updates to my blog is because of my father falling ill with Covid. It began in January and Pop's been laid up in a care facility since then. I know my analog friends might be disturbed by this but I just upgraded my cell phone. I picked up the new note 3, started a framily plan, and received a free tablet. I'll need one of those flimsy keyboards for work for the tablet. You know the one, it's made of rubber and can be folded like a handkerchief. I like those because they're quiet. ( Read more... )

Recharging units for your cell phone aren't very advanced. The portable charger I picked up when I bought my first touch screen smart phone recharges my phone short a full charge. That's not good enough, and that's why I'm watching developments of the new device described in the article 2-weeks of smartphone charging (for your cell phone.)
