Studio City
Finally took the last exposure. 24exp rolls of film get roughly 15 photos on the #ZeroImage135 camera. Out of those 15 pix, I've weeded out double exposures, movement/shakiness, and badly framed shots. These uploaded pix are by far better than the rest of the 15 exposures.
Miceli's Pizzaria in Talk Lake during Summer 2024
It was hot! I still can't get myself to wake up early, so I was in Toluca Lake around 10AM. And this street, Ventura Blvd, doesn't have a lot of shade along the sidewalks.

I don't know what's going on with the light leaks. I'm using electrical tape now as the gaffers tape I was using before left a lot of residue on the camera. Sometimes the winding knob is too tight to wind so I have to loosen the lid of the top cover to give the film some leeway. Winding becomes easier this way, but I'm guessing the resulting exposures are light leaked.
What I've encountered with the tape I place on this part of the camera is that if the winding knob is too tight and I try loosening the top lid, the black tape I use to cover this crevice on the camera is too tight (in other words, placing the tape covering the lid crevice while the lid is snug and tightly attached to the camera, loosening the lid doesn't work to ease the tightness of the winding knob; so I may have removed the tape at this point of my photographic journey and the light leak blemishes resulted.
Van Nuys
HEAT STROKE in Summer '24 on Burbank Blvd in Van Nuys
And I say that because I don't have a leak in this consecutive shot. And I was on the verge of fainting. I remember trying to walk in the shade on this 95°F heatwave in the valley, but when I had not choice but to walk directly under the sunlight, I felt chills. As if I was cold and the sunlight were bringing me comfort out of hypothermia. At this point, I wasn't even walking straight, so I stopped at a bus stop and gave up on my urban hike of 8 miles from Lankershim to Van Nuys Blvd.

Thru the car windshield - the zig-zap tree
After the heatwave and the urban hike snafu, I quit taking photos. At this point I stopped carrying the camera bag and just taking the camera with me to pick up take out. It's probably the reason for the hasty photo framing. Shooting when people are around is not easy, but look at all the zooming cars.

Hollymont Apartments decapitated
In my defense, I'm not in the habit of decapitating my photo subjects. I diligently use a leveler app on my phone and I balance the phone on top of the camera trying to get it leveled. So, for what it's worth, this is what the street looks like, a slight elevation in a northward direction.

Los Feliz Branch Libry.
I really like the design of the library patio here in Los Feliz. I came to pick up Killing Commendatore, by Haruki Murakami.
