The moon was full, typical, boring blue against the purple sky, while I sat there naked, waiting for the cycle to begin again. It came in waves at first, intense stabbing pains and dull muscle throbs, the kind they tell you to take painkillers for, I try to ignore it, but I never can. It kept getting worse
