Columbia was fun and I'm really glad I got to see my sister. I'm really poor now though. I loved being with my friends and I would like to move back but whatever, I don't think it's going to happen. Josh punched a guy in the mouth and chipped his TOOF. hahaha I got to see a lot of my friends from highschool and caught up and stuff, it would have been cool to spend more time with them but i did get to meet new people.

Jesus fucking Christ, I slept at Josh's house the last night I was there and I felt like going to bed early because I didn't feel like drinking and I was pretty tired. When I woke up, fucking fat joey or whatever the fuck people call him was in Josh's tiny fucking bed with me. Okay let me explain something... he lived TWO doors down and there were many other beds he could have slept on. I mean it was a twin sized bed. So I got up and decided to go to sleep with josh on the couch. Although i was creeped out and wanted to punch him in the face. Anyway, that day whenever I was driving home I discovered that my IPOD was gone. I remembered that when I was on the couch with Josh, dude woke me up and told me my alarm was going off in my purse and then he just left. um sketchy? i think so. i didnt ever take it out of my purse except when i was in my car and then i always put it back after that. fucking people.

Last night I watched The Last House on the Left, a movie about the rape and murder of two girls and the parents who get revenge. Well, let's just say we only got to the rape part before we all decided we couldn't take it anymore so we walked out. I have never seen a movie with such a long, detailed rape scene in my life. We regretted even supporting this movie by buying tickets.

A long time ago I read the book Cunt and it talked about the reoccurring theme of rape in movies and television and how they make it seem more sexual than it being a form of torture (because it is.) It said something about how most of the girls in these movies that are raped are white. Watching the movie last night made me think of that. The girl in it was attractive and loved to swim in her underwear, the men were dangerous but somewhat good-looking and fit. I really would want to know how long the scene lasted but I will NEVER watch that movie again. Please don't think I'm excluding lifetime movies and postfeminist films, I'm talking about all movies.

One out of eight movies has a rape scene in it. Isn't that a bit much? You don't see those numbers in any other form of torture. I'm sorry, I'm just a little freaked out.
