...attempting to cut something with scissors while your finger is in the way is not a good idea and will result in lots of owies and blood! *facepalms*
Thanks. It's about a centimetre long & slightly curved though not very deep (it pinched the skin as it cut so didn't go deep). It bled quite enthusiastically, but it doesn't hurt as much as I expected. The thing that got me was that it took so long for my brain to kick in on it, I'd already done the damage before the signal got through that it was wrong *sighs and rolls eyes*. I'll survive, I've had worse. Ironically it's just below where I had a papercut that only just healed. seems that finder is destined to be injured this month.
I do that sometimes when I hurt myself. It takes me a while to notice. I cut my finger really badly when I was cutting bread, I still wince when I think about it. I'm glad it's not too deep that would just suck.
I don't go near bread cutting, I'd probably be lethal lol. I'm normally pretty safe with scissors though, just my finger didn't move when I thought it had lol. Yeah, it'll be fine, just in an awkward spot (side pad of my index finger). At least I can still type, so it could've been worse lol.
Keep an eye on those fingers next time. Those neurological issues allow you to really hurt yourself before you realize you've hurt yourself. As I'm sure you know.
Yeah, when I was numb in my legs I ended up covered in bruises and scrapes. I'm usually pretty careful, but then this is the first time I've realised that things in my hands might be a bit iffy (gonna get the guys to help with a bit of a sensation check - and make it fun *grins*). Will definitely be much more careful in future.
Just taken the plaster (band-aid for the 'mericans) off and it looks fine, just like a glorified papercut actually, am surprised with the amount it bled since it looks mostly a surface cut.
