Thanks :D Tiber's a grey tabby too, before that while growing up I first had a couple of black and white cat (ran away, and got replaced by parents a couple of time), then a black cat with a white tuff on her chest, then a silver calico tabby (who lives wtih my little brother).
He's a total love bug and when the two of them aren't having their pissing contests he's fine as can be! He even jumps up on his hind legs so i can pet him. If you are bored today, ya can come down for a little while (still lots of work, but i can take a break for an hour or so, we can make brownies or no bake cookies ^_^ (gotta love being on the rag, what a good exucse for eating chocolate) :) just dont mind the huge mess! Tiber's been sitting on my monitor sleeping, and Vlad's just been checkign out the rest of the house. you would almost think they're used to each other..... .... .... ....
It is sooo awsome that things are going smoothly. How nice that he is a love bug too, Tiber tends to be a bit more distant so it has to be a nice change.
Ohhhh with the no bake cookies of glory!!! Yog needs to get his taxes delt with today so he will be at the little H&R Block place right up the road at 3pm. How about I swing by then and we can hang out while he gets his crap done?
on the way out they hinted that leaving him in the box would be the best thing for him. He wanted out!
dollycat was the exact same way when we got her. they told us not to take her out of the box until we got home, but she kept meowing at the top of her lungs and sticking her little pink nose through the air holes, wanting to get out. i finally caved and she immediately settled down.
I can understand with a cat that is totally wild, or with people who dont understand cats, actually I probably would have done that with my mom's cat, she's a little more flighty and the box would have made her feel safe..... but dude, we're in a closed car for HOURS, an this guy needed some physical re-assurance.
yeah, dolly was all of eight weeks old when we got her. she just wanted to be held and see the world! but yeah, with flightier kitties, it makes sense.
