WHEN I PAINT MY MASTERPIECE This George Washington illustration is my single attempt to work in watercolors. I think. I mean, I don't have any other examples of artwork in this medium. I'm not sure when I did this painting. I believe it was for a show with the Western Massachusetts Illustrators' Guild, so it was probably done in the late eighties or early nineties.

I think.

I was not as good at record-keeping back then (whenever 'then' was). Anyhow, the point of this illustration and this post is I'm attempting to change that-that being, my lack of work in watercolors. I'm in an online dialog with the folks at Artspace here in Greenfield, Massachusetts. I'm hoping to be able to sign up for Astrid Sheckel's watercolor class.

Stay tuned, to see if I change the fact that THIS is my only watercolor illustration.
