Spacemonkey occurs once (not every day as fanfic writers would have you believe) at the end of the first episode of the second season.
The floppy Daniel hair goes away after a couple of seasons - the Powers That Be just want something so that they could say, "Look! The amazing resemblance to James Spader from the movie! Aren't we awesome." But then Shanks made the character so much his own that he won a haircut.
hey, I've read that fic. It's fun, but there's a lot better ones out there which I could recommend if you wanted ; P

Rec on! The only thing I want to avoid is AU; I don't care for it in general, and in Stargate...I really don't see the need.

LJ didn't email me your comment, so I'm only just seeing this. I finally get your icon! Well, I haven't seen any chess yet, but I know enough to squee now.

I'll probably have more stupid questions for a while, since there are eight (?) seasons to go. And, quite possibly, more hair analysis.
