A/N: Well. It's finally here. Four months late, the first part of your fic, salable_mystic . I am so so sorry I took so long, and there should be six more drabbles in the next week to follow this one.
Masterharper Robinton awoke to the sounds of firelizard singing and the distant strumming of a gitar.
There was no player evident, which wasn’t all that surprising in the Harper Hall, but he swore it sounded closer.
He heard the soft sounds of singing, tentative - the birth of a new song. Menolly was in the room adjacent to his bedchamber, composing.
He closed his eyes again, listening to the faint strains of music. It was a light sound - cheerful. He wondered at the meaning behind it - the words were too soft to hear.
Robinton got up to get his morning klah.
