Fish!
I got an early birthday present today---a new fishtank to replace my decade-old one, along with fresh supplies for it. Tomorrow I'll be heading out and getting me a fish...probably a single, decent-sized fish rather than a bunch of small ones. I don't want to repeat the Great Tiger Barb Massacre that happened last time (seriously, that fucker was a sociopath...). I'm still a little nervous, since transporting fish in winter is always a chancy proposition, but hopefully it'll work out alright. I'm thinking I might get an angelfish---not too original, but fuck it---and either a little algae-eater or a few snails to keep the place tidy. If everything goes well, I might put up a picture or two. Maybe. I suck at taking pictures of fish.
