Duuuude!

Surfing was so great! If I lived in Hawaii, I would be a surfer definitely. xD Our instructor was this pretty cute (but older) guy who said to call him "Love." He had a really nice body, like most surfers, and said not to ask about his name. *.* Love taught me to surf! Heh heh heh, I still find that amusing. At first it was hard, I couldn't get the positioning right and the transition from lying down to standing up was difficult, my balance getting all off and so on, but I got it after the first couple times and it was awesome! I know it wasn't quite real surfing, because we were on longboards, he picked the wave, told us when to go and gave us a push - but it was still fun! If my arms were a bit stronger (that is, if I surfed more), I'd be able to do it without a push. Surfing would really help me in volleyball, because it'd build up my upperbody strength. I'm dreading going back to volleyball now, I'm still pretty out of shape... Oh god. ;.; I REALLY want to make varsity... but... man, it just hurts to think about. It'll be completely my fault if I don't make it, too, because I didn't work out during the summer. Great, now I just depressed myself. I wish I had a picture of me surfing, too bad. I'll just have to try and hold on to this memory, since I'm horrible at remembering things. The best one was the long ride I did almost back into shore! I was up for what felt like a minute, and in the end I didn't fall off like usual, I lowered myself onto the board, turned around and hauled back out to where they were. Well, not quite *hauled* because I wasn't very fast, but it was a good distance. O.o
Dinner was great, though pretty amusing because Dani sat next to "uncle" Casper, who's my great-aunt Lorinda's husband. Confused yet? Well, he kept telling us not to order "something you can get on the mainland" and trying to show us "proper chopstick technique." Dani apparently got it, and I got the position right but couldn't get my fingers to move that way. So I just went back to the way I've been using for the last 10 years. >.> It was actually a seafood chinese restaurant, but we didn't get any seafood. xD Crispy noodles(Chicken and mushroom noodles), spicy chicken and tofu (Pang ga tofu), and what I call "Chinese broccoli" is what we ordered, and we ate it all. It was sooo good. Oh, plus we had dim sum earlier in the day (after church), so I'm all set on Chinese food, hopefully I won't be pining for it back in Vegas.
I can't wait to go HOME though, I miss my fuzzies and my mom... as much as I love Hawaii... well... my relatives are crazy. More on that later maybe, gotta go. O.o;
