Thinking

Well, Pearl Harbor yesterday was very depressing. We only saw the Arizona, but out at the memorial, it's eerie because you're basically standing over the grave of a thousand dead soldiers. I know people say that 9/11 is supposed to be our generation's Pearl Harbor, but it's really not. They were both equally terrible, but at the same time on different levels. The casualties of Pearl Harbor were so much worse, even though they were military they were still human lives, just like the civilians of Sept. 11. It's things like this that just make me sick of humans. We put so much stock in nationality or race, sex or sexual orientation, religion or lack of that we're lead to commit these terrible acts of war and violence. And I say we because humans are not just individuals, because none of this could go on if it were. Humans ARE society and society allows it to happen.
Well, my aunt needs to use the computer for a bit, but on another note, I found this "interesting" artical on hotmail and thought I'd share the link, since I didn't share the last one about the GBLT school. This one's an artical on the "metrosexual." XD
