So yesterday morning (my day off) I was woken up by a phone call at 8am, I answer and it's someone from a company called AIL (American Income Life) in regards to my resume I posted on Workopolis and they offered me an interview. The first warning sign that came up was that they wanted me in later that day (like 3 hours from then) and I told her that I'd call back when I found out if I was able to work that into my schedule. So knowing that things were kind of sketchy I looked around online to see what I could find about them, and of course one of the first hits on google came up with this messageboard posting on scam.com.

Now after reading through all of this I called back to make an appointment that I had no intention of following through on just to be a jerk (haha) and she ended the very scripted telephone talk telling me to "dress nicely" after which I had to contain my laughter on the phone. Wow, what a shitty company, but for more information you can read up about similar companies on Wikipedia.

In other news I thought I was screwed for money because Canada Post had lost my $150 money order for the 7" I'm putting out (sent XpressPost nonetheless) but it finally showed up yesteday (February 21st) after I sent it out January 29th. Now today I get to call and bitch at them so I can get my money back.

Good Form on Thursday will finally be good times for me, since I don't have to work Friday for the first time in a looooong time.
