Singapore is beautiful in the rain.

(Yesterday at the library I was looking at large, glossy pictures books - atlases, maps - and the world is really gorgeous, so much more than we know, we can imagine. I want to see it someday. Antarctica, especially; that's like saying I want to climb Mt. Everest, isn't it?)
