"who apparently sees us all as potential criminals and wellsprings of illicit activity, and who will not hesitate to march us off to the police station if we do something illegal!"

Forgive me if I giggle, but I had this sudden vision of 415 marching along in chains to the police station with Mrs. Hoo walking behind us saying "We don't want to do this!".

And I think I've sort of reached a point of resignation about this whole shitty authoritarian RGS thing. But when I saw the Computer Policy, I still wondered why I had to sign it and what they would do if I didn't. And it's disappointing when I talk to people like Jalleh and Shirley Tan in real life and they're well- people. Human. And then idiotic edicts like these are issued and I wonder if they spring from these very people or whether they're too weary to protest too. It's frustrating too, when you hear teachers (So many teachers!) diss/acknowledge the many shortcomings of the education system, and yet nothing is ever done/will probably ever ever be done. I mean, I like to believe that it's because they do comment and it's ignored. But if not, then what hypocrisy! But I suppose that's a little unkind/harsh.

Sometimes I feel like we should write a long letter detailing all of this to the Administration when we leave. Like our goodbye present. Only I'm sure they've all thought of these things already and this will serve to do nothing other than remind them that countless students feel similarly. Which in a way, is good, too.
