I'm not sure if I should write in French against, since I need as much practice as I can get, but it takes a lot of time, and I lose a lot of my expressive ability, as I have realized after I translated my previous blog post, because so much of what I meant wasn't getting said by my choice of vocabulary. The translated version isn't direct; it's more of a revised English version, so the words don't correspond exactly. I also realized how little I had to say yesterday; the entry was quite inane.
I'm listening to French radio! - And it is now playing Akon's "Right Here (Na Na Na)". I am disgusted. Beyond disgusted. Okay, have switched radio stations, but - ew. Okay, finding a better radio is harder than I thought. EVERYTHING IS PLAYING ENGLISH SONGS. Now it's Kelly Clarkson -.- Are French people that bilingual! Even in Singapore radio stations rarely play English and Chinese songs together.
Fantastic. This one's playing If I were a boy, Beyonce. Okay, so Beyonce's French. Except there's this strange guy singing a part with her O: C'est bizarre! He has a nice voice, though.
Today was - blurry. (FRENCH RADIO PLAYING WOMANIZER! OMG) I don't really feel like dealing with all the emotional upheaval, so I shall save it for tomorrow. Today was spent doing absolutely nothing, which means I need to be really productive the three days ahead. I have a lot of things to do this weekend, of which at least half isn't official homework, but I have to do them anyway.
The gist, however: YOU DON'T GET TO DO THIS TO ME AGAIN. I WON'T LET YOU. After three weeks of hiatus, you don't get to decide you suddenly want things back to the way they were last year, and start toying with my heart again, and sending little hints and indirect challenges and messing up my life! You don't get to go back to the way you were, and start being happy and alternately knowing again. This is far too complicated for me, and I can't balance my life with you in it. GO BACK. I just found a new balance (Ha, NB) I DON'T NEED YOU TO MESS IT UP AGAIN, thank you very much. THERE IS A LINE THERE. DON'T STEP OVER IT.
Obviously I'm slightly hysterical. IT'S THE LEAF, I'M TELLING YOU.
Further proof that Subway is completely awesome: today they played Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl even though it's technically banned in Singapore :D
FINALLY, A FRENCH SONG IS PLAYING ON THE FRENCH RADIO. THANK YOU.
