I need a break; doing Lunch on Tuesday and hopefully that'll clear out production (but shit production is not clearing out there's so much more after the script. This is why work delegation exists.) and I can finally drown myself in EE research. I calculated - 400 words means 300 every day for 14 days : P
Somehow script is like this giant black hole - two weeks ago, I outlined and wrote a couple of scenes, and I was like, okay, 1/3 done, and then last week over the weekend, I thought, nearly, nearly, and it's been, nearly, nearly, the whole of last week up till now, and I just did a proper count and assembled everything, and I'm still at least three full scenes short (the resolution) and a couple of vignettes here and there, and word count is 2/3 of estimated total. WHERE DO THE WORDS GO I make a lot of drafts that aren't used.
I am going to be slightly distant these few weeks, I think - that's the hazard of being stuck too deep inside your head.
On the bright side, coffee tomorrow! : D
