Recruit-A-Friend
I am going to buy myself a "2 seater" rocket mount in World of Warcraft. To do so, I have to "recruit a friend" and pay for 60 days of play (before I get the mount). So basically I am going to 'invent' an imaginary friend, then 'recruit' them though email, and then pay for a 60 day game card for no one at all. Then Blizzard gives me a 2 seater rocket mount. And, my $60 worth of game time will rot away.
Now, the reason I am posting this is, if there is anyone out there at all who would like to try out wow for 60 days for free, I am willing to have you be the "recruited friend" and I will pay for your 60 days of free play. I doubt that anyone will be interested (and there is some email and account set up work for you to do at the blizzard website which would probably involve you and I talking by phone to get straight well beforehand).
Figured I would throw out the offer, incase anyone had always wanted to try WoW, but hadn't been willing to spend the money on it. Oh, btw, you cannot use this "Recruit-A-Friend" thing to 're-activate' a previous account - it has to be a BRAND NEW account.
