Okay, it's time! I know I said I was going to do Kiss Kara Hajimeyou next, and maybe I should have, but I didn't, I did Alright! instead, so here we are. Btw if you are wondering why I say "alright" instead of "all right" it's because I like the way "alright" looks more. When I read "all right" my brain takes a mini-pause that throws off my flow.
This song had a lot of english words in it, and a lot of katakana japanese-words-from-english in it, so some of the phrasing is a little strange and some of the sentences are a little patchy, and it isn't entirely my fault. You will probably be able to tell what I mean.
So here we go. I am gonna tell you straight off that there were two lines I really never figured out. I will also tell you that because I briefly read the English translation for this song a few weeks ago, there were maybe one or two things that stuck with me and I made some executive decisions based on what I thought I remembered from that. Anyway, that is enough talking. Here you go!

I feel SO PROUD of the way my translation came out, after reading this one.
I also feel like "ohhhhhh" because this explains the lines that I really didn't understand the meaning.
And I really like some of my ideas that she didn't use, like the "theory that you are a prisoner" here. Maybe that isn't correct, but I think it works, and what she said was kind of vague.
Reading these translations besides mine is really helpful.
But I also feel really glad about mine and how I phrased some things.
And I definitely think I was able to understand the song!
But it took lots of looking-up-words, and crossing things out, and making a frustrated face at my notes.

That was the admittedly crazy reaction I had to オーライ！ It reminded of hearing a prozzak song for the first time. It reminded me of everything. The rushing, unceasing energy...part of this song is practically ska. And it is the reason I bought the single, and the last nail hit into the coffin of permanent Arashi appreciation. So let's take a look at where it came from!
