I find it dificult to believe
that Hezbollah expects the world to buy into this bullshit. While Isreal is trying to get their captured trooper back from the Palestinians, Hezbollah makes a raid from the north and captured two Isreali troppers of their own. With these actions, Isreal appears to be increasingly justified in whatever actions that take, despite what UN Secretary General Kofi Annan says about it. Isreal has been retrenching for over a year now, including releasing the entire Gaza strip to the Palestinians after unilaterally pulling out ALL of its settlers and closing their settlements.
However, this doesn't seem sufficient for the Palestinians and they elected Hamas to a majority in their parliament. The Hamas charter explicitly says that they not only fail to acknowlege the state of Isreal but vows to push Isreal back into the Med Sea. This is very clear and not a surprise to the Palestinian people. So, this is what they really want and their activities since Hamas gained power. Since then, groups in Palestine have been sending regular rocket attacks into Isreal.
It's begining to look like the Palestinians, Hezbollah, and Hamas would like nothing more than to execute the the goals in the Hamas charter.
