back at work!
Wow, I'm back in the office for real now... scary. Well sort of for real... since it's Evan's first week in daycare I warned my boss that I would probably have some shorter days to start out with. This morning I planned to get him over there by 9:30 and I did manage to get him there a little past 10, so I guess that's not TOO bad! ;) It was just so hard to get out of the house with everything I needed for the daycare (sheets, blankets, extra clothes, diapers, bottled and labeled milk... ) and then what I needed for me (purse, breast pump...) and of course the BABY! hehe... and keeping him happy the whole time, which is always the tricky part. And of course he decided he was hungry right about 9 or so. But that was good because then he was sleepy after eating and pretty much slept the whole way to the daycare, which is up in Northgate. I think it took me about 20 minutes to get there this morning, but I imagine it will be a little longer when I'm hitting more traffic earlier in the morning. We'll see. But then it's a pretty straight shot down Roosevelt to get from there to the u-district, so that was pretty quick.
Anyway, so I left Evan smiling in the arms of the infant room teacher, so that felt pretty good. :)
