I finished listening to Bob Dylan's "Blonde on Blonde" . I give it a 9/10. The best tracks are Rainy Day Women #12 and 35, One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later), Stuck Inside of Mobile with the Memphis Blues Again, Just Like a Woman, Most Likely You Go Your Way (And I'll Go Mine). This is a great album by a great musician. Very consistent. Not one song is unsatisfying.
I listened to Metallica's "Ride the Lightning" . Surprisingly, this was an amazing CD. I give it a 9/10. The best songs are Ride the Lightning, Fade to Black, and Escape. Again, like the Dylan album, not a bad song on this. I like this even better than And Justice for All or Master of Puppets. Metallica may be tools as people, but as musicians, they are tight.
I started listening to Tom Waits' CD "Franks Wild Years"
Lena came over around 2. We hung around a while and then went over to Chinatown to pick up the bus tickets to Philly. Apparently, it was 12 dollars each way, more than the website advertised it as ($10).
We then came back home and watched my cousin Darren's movie. It was really interesting and depressing. I was in a headfuck the whole night afterwards. Seeing Darren on screen made the point sink in that he is really gone...it was tough. We didn't have sex because I couldn't get hard...I just wasn't focused on anything that night.
We drank a Miller Lite....just hung around the rest of the nite. Nothing really interesting happened. We went to bed early.
yesterday -
We woke up and played some basketball at the park. I did really good after I warmed up. I think I impressed Lena. I taught her how to shoot. She started out airballing shit. She was getting better. She was a natural on defense though. I had her try to guard me once...she stayed right on me until I gave a crossover and totally busted her ankles (not literally). It was funny. I also playfully guarded her and blocked her shot once. :) It was a lot of fun. Lena wants to play bball some more with me.
We then went to Dunkin Donuts to get lunch and in my case, a huge iced coffee. Some old man spilled a coffee on the floor. I always say, old man and coffee = disaster.
We headed up to hang out with John. He seemed like an OK guy. He was very laid back...almost comatose. We hung out at his place for a while. He poured out some German beer for me and Lena that was solid. Lena told me afterwards that there was a riding whip that looked well worn in their bathroom. John's cat Lola was adorable. She played with a toy mouse a lot and ate some plants. We hung out at Outpost, this coffee shop, for awhile. Jane came by and she was a lot like John...laid back to the point of being comatose. Me and Lena ate some Sabra hummus with carrots which tasted really good. Never tried the combo before.
We headed back home and played some NES games. Mickey Mousecapade, Little Nemo: The Dream Master, and Adventure Island 2. Lena was as good as me in most of the games. That was unexpected.
We then ate dinner...watched some Jeopardy. Lena joked while she was eating ice cream and I was eating celery..how's that celery? Heh...There was also this guy on Jeopardy from Brooklyn who looked goofy. Lena told me earlier in the day about this guy from Bushwick who always shouts out Bushwick whenever people ask is anyone from Brooklyn? We made jokes about this guy saying Bushwick to every question on the show. LOL.
We then put on the MGMT album "Oracular Spectacular" and I fingered Lena.. then we put it on a second time and she gave me a blowjob. Then she had to leave so I walked her in the rain to the train station.
today -
I started reading Born to Rock by Gordon Korman. I read the first 105 pages today. It's really good.
I watched game 3 of the NBA Finals. I hope the Celtics and come back from 2-1 down.
