Tardising the Doctor
(with apologies to the KLM for the subject line)
After a year of anticipation (perhaps even a bit longer) and an intense week of hype, the Neil Gaiman penned episode of Doctor Who hit the airwaves (and the Internet). For those of you that are coming in late, or lagging behind, Neil is perhaps my favorite author. Mad, intense, imaginative, and wonderful. And, of course, Doctor Who is my all-time fave television show; I've only been watching the thing for 3/4 ths of my entire life. This is like a boon friend, wrapped around your favorite meal, hurtling around the room with your best memories, and finally coming out in your heart.
And it was *fantastic*
Glad to see that some things not only live up to the promise, but go further.
