(no subject)
Ok so the updating isn't going as well as I had planned on. Sky has been saying mama/ma for a while now, but usually when I'm not home. On Tuesday night she said dada for the first time. She was looking all over for her daddy but he was at work :( I did call Chris and tell him though (because he always likes to know that stuff right away) and he was so excited. Last night he called me from work to ask me if she had said dada again and if I thought she was going to or not. She didn't say it, and I told him I had no idea. She has also said no a couple times and yes once. It looks as though she'll be talking about as slow as her brother.
On to Finnegan and speaking of talking, he has been talking alot more. He can say almost anything if he wants to and often says random words or names for no particular reason. Last night he was looking at his fish nemo and we had a short conversation:
Finn: "fishy"
Me: that's your fishy honey, nemo
Finn: "nemo"
Me: yeah, good job, hey mom listen to finn, finn can you say nemo?
Finn: "yeah"
Me: say it
Finn: "why?"
I guess he doesn't perform tricks.
His current favorite movies are Stuart Little 2 and I Spy. I suspect he would like Stuart Little 1 but we don't have it. Everytime the Stuart DVD starts, Stuart says "here we go." Finn has taken to saying "all right, here we go" everytime I push play on any movie he watches. He then procceeds to run across the room, jump up onto the couch, and anxiously await the start of his movie. He's so weird.
