LOTSA DAYS!!! :D
Day 09, 10, 11, 12 & 13
Hehehe, okay, so I obviously suck at doing long term memes :P But I was trying to get a bunch of my icons challenges done before the deadline so I'm using that as an excuse! But I have everything done and as soon as I post this, I am going to create all of the other posts so that all I have to do is make them public each day - then you guys can still see them and I have no excuses! Fair? :P
These five days are 'most recent', 'non-canon', 'group', 'villains' and 'bad canon' roughly. That's a pretty summed up version of each but you get the general drift. At least, I hope you do. Either way, take a look :D
Day 09. Your most recent pairing?
Okay, so I took liberties with this one. They're not exactly my most recent pairing but they're new-ish. For example there's a number of pairings I liked just based on fics/vids/art, etc but I've only just seen the shows and now I love them more! Technically, they'd be the newest ones but as I said, I've liked them for a while so this was the newest-newest pairing :P
LOVE LOVE LOVE Zane/Jo. They don't air Eureka here and I'm just dying to know what happens next! After that last ep - I nearly died when I saw it! I actually squee'ed out loud when I saw it and it was probably the most emotional I've gotten since that disaster that was the s3 finale. I've actually liked how s4 has turned out so far but it was hit or miss for a while there.
Day 10. Favourite non-canon pairing?
Trory. This one wasn't really that hard. I'd already used Dean/Buffy and it was a race between Trory and Malec but I threw DA love in with fav rivals so Trory it was! I'm classifying them as non-canon because technically they weren't a couple. They just kissed. On a piano bench :P I was very much a Narco shipper until that very bad affair and then it was hands down Literati. I think I even missed Trory the first time round because I only saw reruns here so my viewing was somewhat sporadic but once I realised that I'd missed a few things, I went back and watched it all from the first ep... and then I fell in love with Trory *sighs happily*.
Haven't turned back since, not even when they introduced Tristan 2.0 (aka Logan) and when I discovered fanfiction, they were one of the first couples I looked up and I was over the moon when I discovered that they were popular enough that people had written about them. Now I write about them! :D
Day 11. Favourite group of friends (four or more people)?
I have to admit, I wanted to add Zutara in here somewhere and I realised that the closest I was gonna get to that was to add them in my group of friends. I was even tempted to find a very Zutarian shot that had the others in it (like the shot from 'The Ember Island Players') but decided to just use this one and ignore the fact that it's very Kataang-y.
I do love the group of them and don't get me wrong, just because I think Zuko is better for Katara than Aang doesn't mean I don't like him. He's a great character! He's the Avatar! But I like him better with someone his own age - say, I don't know, Toph :P This show was fantastic and I'm not even gonna see the movie because I already hate the casting and I know other AtLA fans were disappointed with the storyline so I'm gonna sit in my own AtLA world and pretend it doesn't exist. It's also a world were Zutara does so I'm good :P
Day 12. Favourite band of villains?
The villains from Kim Possible, hands down! Dr. Drakken and Shego and Señor Senior Jr and all the rest - they're all just brilliant in their evil-ness that it's hard to fault them. I suppose they wouldn't normally count because they don't all work together as one big group but they have occasionally worked together so I'm gonna count that as a win and include them :P
The pic below has Shego, Dr. Drakken, Monkey Fist, Señor Senior Sr, Adrena Lynn, and Señor Senior Jr but I'd add Duff Killigan and Camille Léon to the list too :P Shego is probably my favourite in the bunch (although Dr D does have me in stitches!) because she and Kim are just so much alike. She's part of a family of superheroes so I don't like to say that if things had been different she'd be good but there are several times when she does genuinely good things although she tries to rationalise it in an evil way so people don't notice. And if Drakken's 'Lather, Rinse, Obey' rap isn't his finest moment then I don't know what is! :P
Day 13. A pairing you like, but don't like what canon did/is doing with them.
Grrr... okay, so I'm gonna try not to get too angry doing this one. As soon as I read it I knew which pairing I was using and I AM still angry about it. Luckily the show's not over so I hope the show does its job and fixes this mess. I picked Tyler and Caroline from The Vampire Diaries.
Not originally a Tyler or Caroline anything. Didn't really like either of them as characters. But when they introduced his werewolf-storyline and they tossed around hints of their relationship, I began to love them. Oddly enough, I don't really like either character on their own or with others. But together they're AMAZING and I really hope the show brings him back for s3!
