Lovely Day!
I'm getting things done, but at a very leisurely pace today, interspersed with a lot of indolent fun. Wii a little, cover the plants for the coming cold, Civ IV a little, clean up where K and the kids replaced the washer and fixed the dryer (Yay, working laundry again!), Evercrack a little, chat on phone, answer e-mails, go through old fabric boxes and find cool baby fabrics, lay out quilt ideas with K, clean up party remains. Well, that last sort of happens any time I walk from one room to another. It's being a surprisingly fun day, that gets a lot done but feels like hanging out and doin' nuthin.
The replacement of the washing machine was an epic thing that I didn't have to do much for, once it got rolling. But it's taken me over a year to get K to do it. Sometimes I really wonder why it's so hard to get him to do things that I really need done.
Now I'm chilling as the sun sets, listening to 1940's big band jazz, getting through the laundry while the house sleeps.
David Tennant's last night as The Doctor airs tonight. Everyone else is napping until then.
