Open House and The Company of Beautiful Women
Last night was Bug's open house, at his new real people's school. He's in the Creative Writing program, and just loaded up with cool classes. His only non-word oriented classes are "Hope" which is what health and PE combined and became, Alegebra, and Honor's Biology. His Biology and his reading reacher are both teacher's Skyler had as well. In fact, the reading teacher is Skyler's favorite teacher, ever.
I'm most impressed with Bug's Creative Writing teacher. He has her through is last two classes of the day, and she's just splended. Bright, energetic, very organized, with a clear love for her gifted students. Bug is apparently one of only two boys in the almsot all girl freshmen class, but she says "he's holding his own." Why am I not surprised? Most of the men I have known have prefered the company of intelegent women, to that of other men. Less posturing, fewer pissing contests, and lots of interesting conversation. And apparently, we smell better, too.
