He closes his eyes and sees her face. Her smile is bright, but her eyes are tired, defeated.
I’ll come visit you soon, so you’d better wait for me, ok? Tears threaten to fall from his eyes. “It’s so unfair,” he says to himself. “Why her, of all people?”
Shim ChangMin is still awake, and hears his hyung murmuring. “There are a lot more people there like her, hyung… We hear a lot about them in the news.”
YunHo turns his gaze at the youngest. He feels somewhat upset about ChangMin disturbing his thoughts, but seals his mouth shut and ponders over the words.
“Its just that now…” ChangMin says, “You see a face with the name…”
“She’s not just a face,” YunHo interrupts before ChangMin says another word. He rubs his eyes, trying to hide the tears. “She’s special.”
ChangMin sighs, “Hyung… get a hold of yourself. Don’t say or do things you don’t mean just because of a spur of a moment emotion. You’re better than that.”
“Go back to bed,” YunHo says firmly, and ChangMin obeys.
As soon as everything’s quiet again, YunHo continues writing. Be strong like you’ve always been. I’m looking forward to seeing you again.
YunHo looks around the room, where the four other members sleep soundly. Reluctantly, he puts the pen away, folds the sheet of paper and kisses it gently. I think I’m in love with you…
