I just found out that if you 'win' Nanowrimo, you can get a free paperback copy of your manuscript from a self-publishing agency. Then you can start to market it, making it available on Amazon.com and other places. There's a whole community of resources on how to get your novel from its infant stage to being out there for public consumption. You get a special code that is valid until June of 2011, so I would have until then to finish my editing and polishing before submitting it for publication.
