Talking about dolllssssss

Sup journal!

Ugghhh waiting for dolls is hard! The people that ordered Rot V. 2 during the first order period received their dragon this week. Having ordered Rot V. 2 during the 3rd ordering period, I worked the numbers and I think mine will get here the first or second week of december. That's when my Volks gal is suppose to arrive too! I guess it'll be a good Christmas present...

Jason and I are doing pretty good with our self-imposed spending limitations. Regardless, I still acquired lots of Valerie Zeitler's Bitten Collection pieces. I only started collecting them in August, and I already own 45% of the pieces released! That's pretty good! I average saving $25 on outfit sets, but the shoes and wigs are going for the original retail price - overall I've saved $270 off original retail price. I'm sure eventually my 'savings' will be a premium, because I'm sure the more coveted outfits are going to sell at higher prices. I watched the ebay sales of two outfits that each went for $20 more than retail, and an outfit on DOA seemed to go for $100 more than retail (which i think was way overpriced, I'll have to be desperate before i pay that much)

Holy snap the AngelsBattle http://www.angelbattle.com dolls! I love these! Ugghhh wannttt. Look at how awesome these are:

I love the armor on the MSD girl, and also the proportions! She takes 10mm eyes, and has a very nicely designed torso and hip jointing system. Her couterpart, the 'demon' aka blue vampire girl, is in BLUE RESIN. I love it! Also, the yo-sd skeletons are amazing! I wonder if they are very fragile...they sort of remind me of the aliens from the movie Mars Attacks lol. I love these little guys.

Alas, self imposed spending limits, money reserved for purchasing the Bitten Collection, already going to get two more dolls, and need to sell my Minifee boy body for funds to buy another doll. Sigh. I'm excited for owners pictures anyway :) Maybe I'll go haunt the DOA waiting room.
