A bit of trivia: In the movie Labyrinth, Sarah frequently misremembers Hoggle's name. The first time she calls him by the wrong name, she calls him "Hogwart"; she repeats this misnomer later in the film. I wonder if J. K. Rowling is a fan of the movie or if that's just coincidence?

What I'd like to know is this:

Have the people who go around wishing others "the luck of the Irish" ever actually studied Irish history? It sounds a lot more like a curse than a blessing to me!

Does anyone know the origin of the phrase "Bob's your uncle" and why it's supposed to be a bad thing to have an uncle named Bob?
