On the inability to focus.
A new junior person started at my work today. We went over his job responsibilities, and got him set up on the other end of my already too-small office, and he's been working steadily throughout the day. Which makes me feel bad that somewhere around 3:30 I began to zone out. Hence the fact that I am now on lj ;-) Oddly enough, my Google homepage has this listed as my horoscope for today:

I think the world, and my job, would benefit from me working from home for the last three hours of every day. I seriously think that I would be more productive. Of course, I could just start taking lunch breaks. Which, I really haven't in the last couple of weeks. This might boost my energy level. I actually had to kick the new guy out at about 2, 'cause he just wouldn't stop working and go eat.
I'm sure he'll get over that real soon ;-P
